FIFA 19

I'm liking the new patch so far, as someone who plays a slow pace, built up passing game I'm not finding it a hassle at all, but time will tell, also had less problem taking the ball off a silly pacey winger like Sterling who can then tackle Kolarov straight back, no more 'lil man!! :D

Sold Mbappe on for about 380k, so all in all not a bad time of it with the SMS SBC.
 
Working fine on android for me, probably not helping but should use the same service?

Now I'm into some money I'm looking at some changes, how is Dybala? I've got Mertens & Immobile up top right now and using RTTF SMS at CAM who is wonderful Just thinking of Dyabala over Mertens as a lefty could be a handy RST, although I may just blow a chunk on RTTF Florenzi @Andybtsn :D

PS, you guys making a huge fuss over the patch changes (Feels the same!) and ELO are as bad as the flat earthers on FB! :D
 
OK I've narrowed it down, an IOS update is needed before the companion app can be updated - a great move for older iPhone users! Luckily I'm able to install the latest IOS
 
Since the patch I’ve felt the game is far better, smoother, my players are actually making crisp passes, they don’t seem lethargic as hell any more and I feel like they actually doing what I want which is the first time since the previous patch, what, 8-10 days ago?

Since the patch i’ve Played 8/9 games, won 3 drawn a few and lost 2/3, so very middle of the road.

8/10 on Tah, and I’ve just had 2 score draws in a row :( the second ending 2-2 with Kagawa missing an open net from just outside the box in the last few minutes :(

Played against one SBC Alonso, he seemed solid and bailed him out a couple times while Werner was running through.
 
The only issue is still through balls near the area still do seem to slightly gravitate towards the GK, but I can live with that, but I'm loving playing a nice smooth passing game and frustrating these little pace users you come up against every game, Florenzi eats Rashford & co! :D

Just one more time, anyone used Dybala? Any thoughts at CAM or ST?
 
I've not used Dybala but he's certainly impacted pain on me from an opposition perspective lol. If you're planning on buying him, it might be worth holding out until Sunday evening / Monday morning after weekend league as the price will expectedly drop
 
to be honest i tried him at cam and had success so not put him up front at all. he just works at cam as has a bit more space to move.
 
Hmm, true, with the style I play I like that SMS can take a hit and keep on with the ball, great hold up CAM and gets a bit lost a CM in 41212(2)! Might try Dybala on sat then!

I envious of people like you Andy who feel no difference - sure i’ll get used to it but frustrating when I was just getting competent at it until the changes. I think overall it will be a good patch given time.

I had played around 160 games pre patch so enough to really see a difference, I simply cannot. I did win a game last night so the patch is the best thing ever :)
 
Yep, the patch isn't as bad as some make out. Still plays the same, some people must be sensitive or a convenient excuse for losing :D

Timed finesses have been updated but are still effective. I conceded 2 of them and a shot off the bar in the space of 3 mins from Modric last night.
 
Ha ha you bunch *****! I guess it depends on play style etc. I’ve changed formations and seem to be playing better/getting used to the changes.

Still losing but down to my own mistakes/better players. Gone from about to be promoted to Div 3 to just avoid demotion to Div 6 :p

Investements still rising as well and that’s without the incoming icon sbc :cool:
 
I don't even use timed shots/the timing bar or any silly stuff, I just play & shoot when I feel its right using the right type/angle of shot, cba with trying to learn silly gamebreaking mechanics!

3-0-0 since the patch, its like it was delivered by the Baby Jeezbus himself!

Started the Mkh SBC...don't actually know why as I don't have a prem team right now! Either way, Mega Pack & Rare Mega Pack banked, can I hold out to 6pm for when TOTW is out? :D
