This is how I play, I have no patience for possession football. CAMs stay forward and free roam(though they dont really seem to roam much), Aguero get in behind, CDM's to stay back, fullbacks to stay back(on balanced, they get forward a bit when on attack). Even works well for a crossing game with the 2 wide cams work well if they have a bit of pace.

However I am div 5 so pretty average/may not be good advice. :p
 
Last night was a weird one, came up against a LOT more higher end teams than I have done outside of WL and so many just sitting back on UN and crowding their area, first night I've really had this in abundance, add to that a guy scoring from literally anywhere with Messi & Countinho, they really need to turn the idiot lines off ingame, shouldn'r be allowed to be enabled in online play.
 
I tried Rivaldo out on a friends account, just the 87 and he'd honestly be one of the best players in the game if it wasn't for that 2* WF :( he's really good fun for under 800k.

Didnt realise you could have them on! never used them. :p
 
Played 4 won 4 in the weekend league. Not had one easy game, doesn't help that the servers are terrible right now too. My first game I went 2 down and had 4 1v1s where my striker didn't shoot and hit the bar twice. Good job I came back and smashed him in ET.
 
5-0 in the WL so far, team playing very nicely. Managing to counter attack pretty effectively with 4222. Last opponent was really good so thought I'd lose, but managed to win relatively easily in the end.

Hence why I like the 4222 so far, having 2 strikers makes things much easier (especially when they are fast/good). If you could get Neymar and Mbappe for example, that would make your life easier due to their speed and smart attacking runs.
 
Probably shouldn't have change my elite winning team but made what appears to be improvements on paper though I'm not feeling it all that much just yet.

Out of interest, those who play wider formations, 433 and the like, what camera angle do you use? I forget about the wide players often as I can't see them and find co-op is needed, the mini map I rarely use as the minute I look at it I get tackled!
 
Weird start: 5-0 with 4 rage quits, all fairly early into the game. Not complaining, mind.

Aaaaand they've taken the Sancho SBC down, twice in two days. EA are an absolute shambles.
 
Just had another bash with timid finishing. Seems just having it turned even if you mess up the shot it’s more likely to go in from outside the box.

One question though on replays when inside the box is shows the timing box but I don’t think I used it. Does it show the box on replays regardless if you used it ?
