I bought him when he was <15K so I've already doubled my money on him. I haven't sold yet because I know he has the potential to rocket and when he does I'll be buying a super team.

I ploughed all my Dybala coins into him. So I'm currently laughing.

Typically in the oawt totw SBCs require 84 rated squads I believe. 83s and 84s rocket if true.

Good choice!

Not sure why people take the packs as reward when large amount of coins guaranteed. If you take coins you are talking at least a million, more like 2, over the course of the game assuming you play an average amount, there’s your icon right there.

Presumably he only upgrades in line with his highest card though? So if he upgrades to 82 or above, in the absence of a further IF his OTW will be equal to his base?

Or is it the case that if he upgrades to 80, for instance, his OTW will get an equivalent 3 point increase?

no with winter upgrades if his normal card gets upgraded to say a 80 from 77. then his IF say goes to 83 then the OTW goes in line with the IF.

the IF will be upgraded also.
