I didn't have an issue with his balance or agility, he's very mobile - like a faster, more nimble version of Pogba.

Sadly though in my team he spent most of the time in a more defensive role at CDM/CM, so it seemed a bit pointless. I have POTM Reus playing CAM and he's more than good enough (and untradeable).

I really want someone who can defend, win headers, but also pop up near the box with long shots and good passing. 89 Ballack maybe? I do want to try 88 or 91 Seedorf too, seen mixed reviews on him but he looks solid. I know Blanc and Vieira are really good but I used them a lot last year so want to try the new ones out.

Van Dijk flies in for some net busters with his head, I had sentinel chem style on him when I used him though so that may have helped. His TOTS card is going to be outrageous.

Anyone doing the Scottish league SBC for that Tierney card? he looks like one of the best left backs in the game.

Strange game. If I play with an 85-86 rated squad in Rivals it feels stupidly hard. Switch to an 82-83 rated team and its much easier.

How does that work?

Really getting tired of battering teams only for super players to steal a win with their only chance/finessed shot. The game could do with downgrading all the players and having less super players, also there are too many special cards.

In all seriousness people just try harder against better teams, I’ll almost expect to win against an 82 rated squad unless it’s bronze benched to have it that low.

You generally do win vs much lower rated squads as better players give too much of an advantage, unless you are playing someone pretty skilled.

Absolute bore finesses, I've just conceded 4 in a game, every single one against the run of play. Sooo unrealistic with how they're peformed, back to goal, stupid angles, weak feet scoring them. Sort it the **** out EA

Caught some of the FIFA tournament today on twitch and it was like deja vu every game, all people do is timed finesse and move their keepers. It really is tragic in the competitive modes, the game needs something new that rewards people for having fun although I guess it will always turn into people sweating it out if rewards are on the line.

Does anyone bother with the draft mode these days?

I had a go earlier as I'd won a draft token and decided to play it on Pro difficulty (partly because I'm rubbish and partly because I didn't want the stress of it being too difficult)

Proceeded to win the first 3 games north of 6-0 but the final game was just ludicrously difficult!?!?!

I think I had 3 shots the entire game with one going in and managed to scrape a 1-0 win but the other team were like super-humans - no time on the ball as I was closed down immediately with the opposition cutting off every angle!

Glad I didn't go for a higher difficulty level or I'd have been absolutely battered!

Consistency isn't too much to ask for is it?

Do they get given a set team or do they use their own as the matches I watched pretty much had the same set of icons, plus neymar and ronaldo.

They get the whole catalogue of players within the database; normally they'll spend time putting together, applying chemistry styles etc.

I find that I stress/rage more when I set myself a target for the WL compared to just playing it. Last 2 WL I enjoyed it and finished G1/g2 whereas trying to get to G3 this week I'm under so much pressure

whats really grinding my goat though the amount of players who are now just parking the bus yet still manage to have 3 attackers right up top sitting around waiting and tbh its boring.

its a god damn childrens computer game why are people taking it like its life or death lol i play for fun and to constant come up against people who use every trick in the book or exploited finesse shots from outside the box or kick off glitches just totally takes the fun out of this .

its every game you play now from fifa to cod if theres a cheat or exploit then they use it , do people not get any satisfaction now days from winning without cheating
