I love how the update forces people to try and actually play football and also forces me to try and improve myself rather than going for cheesey goals when I get the chance. The only issues I have with the update is that I seem to hit the crossbar a lot and the rebounds are way OTT now.

I still score finesse shots, I could give you 3 examples in the 3 games I've just played tonight, they weren't timed neither. It's strange they nerfed the timed finesse and allowed the driven shot to stay all of 18 mind. Bizarre.

I'm to impatient to play the passing game so 4231 never worked for me, in fact my whole record would be so much better if I didn't keep trying to persuade myself that that formation was the one.

41212 (2) ideal for me, I'm so much more effective attacking when I don't press the sprint button other than getting onto through balls.
 
I have a second team made up of WL rewards and other untradeables that I occasionally use in an online single games to replenish health of main team, I don't often have the time to do this between 2 WL games but the option is there. I'd rather have all my coins invested in the main team deffo.

I'm using IF Simeone at ST because he's IMO better than Icardi (need a Serie A Argentinian for links to Tevez) and Higuain. He's 82 rated versus their 87/88 (i've used them both and Icardi was decent but he's no Simeone.

Same goes for caceres he's 78 rated iirc he's better than Prime Baresi when you stick Anchor on him. Crazy for 14K. He's 2 inches taller than Baresi with all defending stats 99 with anchor on bar 1 or 2.

Why were you harping on about p2w and needing the best players to win if this is your theory?

You give far to much respect to EA that they know what they're doing, you also are to complimentary of higher rated players too, the biggest gripe with this game by players is things like a player with 95 passing can't hit a player from 5 yards away or someone with amazing shooting can't score a 1 on 1. Amazing players aren't the answer, you as a player controlling them are.
 
Getting shafted by this game tonight, so many undeserved losses in WL.

Played as many as I can, got to 11 wins, 5 losses, I don't think I deserved any of them, game kept giving ridiculous penalties, argh!

Yeah, I do agree, there are just some players that are ridiculously difficult to play against but you can probably count them on one hand. All these young stars, 88+ Icons, Messi etc tend to perform no better NIF jobbies. I'm sure for the really good player like Fuji, those little changes will grind out a couple more wins.

Sonny, keep going on about higher rated players then compares 78 Caceres to Baresi etc, make your mind up ffs!
 
Does a Dan94PTA username ring any bells? I just played him in Div FOUR, if I could be bothered I'd post his team but he had all prime 'dinho, Eusebio, Pele, Best, Gullit, Viera, Carlos, TOTY Varane, TOTY Ramos, TOTY De Gea...he took off Best at half time and brought on Ronaldo, he scored and I saw the TOTY Ronaldo pic... It was my first game of the day, I mean seriously, wtffffffffffffff - it must have cost thousands of pounds and presumably only 24 years old!
 
Oh wow...De Gea in the WL packs for getting 11 wins, lulz.

But only Kagawa from player picks.

I have Lloris in goal who doesn't really do much wrong or I can swap him for De Gea and have him on 7 chem orrrrr just sell him...?
 
Always played against De Gea and he makes some unreal saves, it's nice having him in the team, not sure I'd have spent that much on a keeper so glad I packed him. I had to swap Varane for Ramos in the end for chem.

Mine are : fake shot, the backwards berba spin thingy, ball roll, croquet, i do try the stepmover but i find it hard to pull off in game.

i have used the cut in heel chop sice pes 6 and in some fifas but doesn’t seem too effective this year.

Yeah I moved from a 43" HDR TV to a HDR 23" monitor. Much prefer the smaller display.
