FIFA 19

I've done the Columbia objective and 3/5 of the WL player, that one is hard as the players I've got are woeful, I just have to try get penalties so he can take them!

WL wise, really bad night of luck, lost to some poor players, one had a mediocre team with a loan prime Ronaldo who just finished every half chance and I lost on pens when 4-2 up. Think I'm 6-3

Just made it to division 2 with my calico team. Sif gomez and Sif Belotti are flipping amazing.

Tough one, I find best is amazing a dribbling and nedved is brilliant at CAM. He's tough and can score screamers with both feet...but cr7 always scores and gets you out of the ****.

Best med/med not annoying?

Front four would be:

Best
Neymar - Nedved - FB Marcelo

If I got Ronnie it would

CR7
Neymar - Mbappe on 7 chem - FB Marcelo

I really struggle to understand this game.

Every match is a totally random skill level of opponent, totally random gameplay speed, and all of my super fast expensive players get caught by random NIF golds. My AI pretty much does nothing to help defend or attack.

I change tactics, formations, whatever, and it pretty much makes no difference to anything. Just a random mess.

Been like that in every FIFA for as long as I can remember.

1 footed? I thought he was 4* weak foot? Or is he one of those that does anything he can to avoid using his right?

Going to try Birthday Mertens myself I think, not sure how well him & Raul will work as I'll lack any proper big man up top, Bergkamp is great but sometimes feels that bit sluggish, especially in a formation with no central CMs or CAMs.

Any other thoughts on a striker for 450k (xbox) can be literally any league as icons on every link, trying to think outside the box but then keep seeing Dries <3

He is a weird player, I'm one who sometimes thinks a weak foot doesn't exist but he literally couldn't do anything on his right, it did my head in!

FB Sane was brilliant but maybe out of budget.

2/3 for the Colombia objective done, spent about 2 hours last night trying to get the final one. Could win fine (think I lost one overall), but scoring, arggggggggggh

I did that one pretty easily with Cuadrado up top, the Champions one I don't think I can be bothered with, currently 3/5 but I have to sub on crap red players and hope for a flukey goal or a pen. To much hassle!

I did the online draft objective in one go which was nice but naff all in the packs.

Current team that is probably bringing me the most consistent results on 19 and I'm only a few points from Div 1 now.

I use 4231 from the off but if struggling/losing I switch to 433 (4) which is proving a really good formation.

Fullbacks are surprisingly good, I so wish I'd done the 87 Kurz when I had the chance and I use him so much. Lukaku surprisingly is pretty good there, quick and strong.

Div 1 for the first and probably last time.

I have a ritual before games that is helping me a lot.. I don't ever look at the opposition team before going into the game. I think sometimes mentally you could have lost the game before its started, looking at the ridiculous teams you face. At least you don't know the type of player when you see them on the pitch (what type icon, what version of CR7 etc) - I know you see the card when they score.

Oh of course, I'm sure players look to see what formation the opposition is playing and choose one to counter it.

I just seem to play more relaxed not knowing which version of Mbappe/Cruyff/Messi or how many red cards they've got from doing well in the WL they have, that in itself is demoralising! I don't think it's a coincidence that I'm doing much better in games.
