Does anyone find division rivals harder than weekend league?

I managed to finish gold 3 last weekene but on monday i got relegated to division 6. I can hold my own for about ten games in div 5 then i seem to come up against amazing players and then down to div 6.

Total opposite for me, comfortable in Div 5, often close to Div 4. WL is much much tougher. Quite possibly differences in the quanity of PC players, dunno.

Best thing about replacing Modric with Pogba, Modric used to always end up near post defending corners, now having Pogba's height there it feels so much safer, especially with Zlatan backing him up!

Do miss Modric though, subbed him on a handful of times and he is so slick, makes me feel all tingly!

Thinking I could replace LaLa with Kyle Walker or RTTF Aurier (Not that Spurs will get far!) Anyone used either much? Would love to get RTTF Florenzi in but just don't think I can work it

I had Walker for a bit, found him really crap other than semi decent pace. Got RTTF Aurier at the moment and is pretty solid.

How is Van Dijk (NIF/POTM) once I decide to sell my TOTY Marcelo i’ll Be able to complete his POTM but I haven’t used his NIF yet, although I have been smashed by him on multiple occasions. Wouldn’t know how to link to be honest, would probably have to be a NIF Trent and/or NIF Fabinho to replace the current Davinson Sanchez, Trippier and FutSwap Lerma.

Right, I'm finally gonna give Pogba a proper go this WL. Don't like anyone off chem, but I guess at 8 it's decent.

Thoughts/suggestions? Could also get KDB or play it simple and try Rabiot at 1% of the price

i think we have a winner. in fact swap dembele for eriksen most likely because he will be playing CAM unless Delle Alli is better? Basically who is the best player in tottenham team to play CAM which I can convert into a CM? Kane, Dembele, Deli or Eriksen? i'm thinking Deli with hunter?

Solid actually, not much going forward but thats not why you have him, but he was a strong reliable rock with surprisingly good passing.

I wanted someone solid like SMS. I have tried Matuidi who is amazing on the ground and fairly good in the air it's his passing which lets him down. Naingollan is a midget so better suited to CM/CAM. So I tried N'Zonzi I really like him so I got his blue card. But he's just too slow and clunky even with Shadow on. He was solid but too slow I couldn't catch the faster players quick enough to stop them popping off a long shot finesse timed into corner if N'Zonzi was faster he would be a keeper even if he had around 70 pace standard. So I thought De Rossi (blue card with 66 pace iirc would be better i've not tried him yet but i might do) or IF Baka may be the answer. He's solid all rounder. He doesn't excel at anything but he gets the job done. I'm using Anchor on both SMS and IF Baka where I am told Shadow is better on SMS but I feel the aggression and jumping should help me defend corners better.

The jury is still out I've only used him for a few days.

I had Naingollan and Matuidi as CDM's before. They felt too weak up against the stronger players. SMS gave me back what I was missing so I now want another solid player beside him.

I'm actually now thinking IF Vecino might be the answer

Matuidi is left footed which I don't like and 2 star weak foot. combined with his crap passing he is hard to get the ball going forwards. if he was right footed I would keep him. so it's now between Vecino, Baka or De Rossi to claim that spot beside SMS. I wish I had done futmas matuidi now. And also got that special UEL SMS card that was going around.

I think IF Vecino is the one to go for better all rounder he has 188 more stat points than baka plus he's high/high so will move about more so i'll be selling baka after a week or so with him to get Vecino then compare the 2.

IF Vecino was really good for me, but played at CM with RTTF SMS & Nainggolan at CDM, only replaced Vecino when I got FB Boateng as he is just great, similar to RTTF SMS but they compliment eachother well!

Vecino looks like the answer to my problems. He's 6'2 isn't a snail. is right footed. decent all round stats for a CDM boosted by sentinel I have went for over anchor. don't think he needs more pace for the job I want him to do. his dribbling and passing will be a welcomed asset

He has a lot of good reviews but his price seems to have of shot up a lot lately.

happens with time but if you compare his price with baka it's only a couple of K more.

plus for that extra couple of K you are getting nearly 200 more stats in game. i would say he's cheaper than baka in terms of value for money. so i just bought him. baka just didn't feel that good. he done a job but didn't feel anywhere near as good as matuidi or sms.

Hes really good & very solid, genuinely found him better as a wide CM than CDM, lacked the viciousness you get from your Nainggolan/Bakayoko/Keanes but was very technically sound and was very good attacking too.
