Ridiculous idea tbh, as much as its a frustrating thing, its yet another EA Accentuated real world happening! Thats like saying if you do 5 crosses in a game you should have the rest of the crosses fly behind the goal, methinks you just can't take losing!

I can take losing fine tbh as I will hold my hands up when beaten genuinely. If someone is going to score a cheap goal then play keep ball not looking to score another or let me have any chance of getting the ball then that isn't any way to play a game IMO.

When I am winning I will never do this even against players who i know can beat me if given a chance. It's just a horrible way to play. I will keep attacking and trying to get more as I usually find they will start to take more risks because they are losing leaving me space to exploit.

You can have games in real life where 50 crosses where played. You don't have games in real life where they kicked it around their defense and GK for 90 mins.

If they play keep ball at the back just change your tactics to play high up the pitch with team pressure switched on ?

There’s always a tactic to counter another one

i switched high pressure on but it still left him with a spare player at the back to pass to then the keeper as a back up.

I reckon I need a proper custom tactic to counter it. Switching a couple of settings in game wasn't enough.

You should have a custom tactic set up to counter this tbh.

3-5-2, Constant Pressure, High Depth. It leaves you vulnerable in behind, but it'll soon encourage him to switch out of asshat mode. Its also amazingly sweet when you nick the ball and score.

I wouldn't suggest going into this all the time, but if theres 10 minutes to go and he is holding the ball with just a one goal lead, what you have you got to lose?

thanks will look into this tonight. it's just a terrible way to play a game out for such a long time. i have had people do it in the last say 5-10 mins sometimes 15 mins. but never for pretty much a full half. for me having fun and enjoying the game matters more than winning at all costs. i'd rather win with some pride.

It's rare but someone did that in a WL game yesterday, I'm not sure if he was just taking the **** but for the first 9 minutes he was just playing it around in his half, I finally got the ball and instantly scored which prompted him to actually try and play. He eventually rage quit at 4-0. Doofus.
 
I like fast attackers but 3*/3* seriously limits Vardy for me. I need La Croqueta.

Weak foot less of an issue, timed finishes from EoaE Robben regularly go in for me with his rubbish 2* WF. :p
