just picked up 2 OTW Mariano's apparently there is a forward crisis at real madrid with at least 2 out injured and they are playing a poo team at the weekend.

if he gets an IF his OTW will triple in price. his stats are already pretty good with the right chemistry

Because to get full chem I start with 3421 then change to that formation, fullbacks are of a muchness tbh, he does a job and at least can keep up with fast wingers :p

I wgot him in my team just because I packed his standard card and liked it. Surely it’s odds on that a RM striker will get a few IF’s hroughojf the season, what with Isco Modric and Kronos creating. Nice to read that though :p
 
isit just me who one night just wins every game then the next loses about 4 straight.. so frustrating. Bicycle kicks and near post corners are going to be the death of me too. ******* sort it EA its so cheap.
 
Nah you need to pack their scream card separately to get the boost, only gets boosted about 4 times in the year for a day or so. Crouch last year or the year before was fun to use but it doesn't last long enough :(

Unless they've changed it this year they only get those stats for a brief period, 4 times a year or something. Wouldn't surprise me if they've done permanent ones though for the cash grab.
 
I thought I'd have a few games before bed last night... and then it was midnight haha! Starting to get to grips with it now. I'm actually really enjoying this iteration. I've settled on an EPL 4-2-4 formation after no success with a 3-5-2 - kept getting outnumbered at the back. My midfield 2 are workhorses (Aaron Ramsey and Ruben Neves) and I have one set to hold back a little bit. Ramsey's late runs are brilliant. Finding it difficult to find a (affordable) striker to compliment Giroud though.

I've got 2 BPL teams and have Neves and Moutinho in one (predominantly because they play together in real life!) and Ramsey in the other - pretty low rated but Neves especially seems to be awesome for me!

Up front I don't think you can beat Sturridge or Morata for their cost! (neither of whom I particularly rate in real life!)

I tried Giroud but even though pace isn't much of a factor anymore I still found him to be slow!
