I'm gonna force myself back down to Div 5 I think, it's far more enjoyable and the difference in rewards isn't enough to put up with the absolute sweatfest of the higher ones. It's worse than FUT champs

I almost made it into div 3 but ended up losing a couple of games on the bounce and I’m kinda glad I did. I wish you could choose to drop down a division as any higher than 5 and it’s a sweat fest.

Its about my level, never feel too outclassed, win a few, lose a few, hover around 1300 rating. Also rarely meet any uber teams.

I sold him as I've not struggled against him whenever he's played against me. I had his OTW last year and thought he was good but a lot of that was his pace. The pace change initially annoyed me this fifa but now it's alright there are loads of players that won't have been used as they were to slow that are now actually pretty good. I'm now sat on 709k which I think is the most I've had since the FIFA 2014 in which coin selling meant prices were nuts.
700k should give me a good choice of players to build a team around.
I do have 3 parts of the hazard SBC I could do with it. need to do one-man show, 7 goals and finisher.
Is he worth doing? I have POTM Lucas so would just need a decent striker. Spending coins on an untradeable is always slightly disappointing although he may get an upgrade the way hes playing.
costs about 400k to do.

Wondering if it's too early to invest in Auba POTM, Barkley has 3 goals 3 assists. I'm tempted to snipe loads of Leno cards as he'll at least double in price if it is Auba.
Think I'd actually prefer Barkley to get it as Auba will be expensive and his base card is already OP, Barkley with the significant increase in stats could be really fun to use.

Already invested in Arsenal squad. Barkley could nick it though.

Yep, if it is Auba then Leno should go to at least 4k I reckon, there's probably bigger margins to be made elsewhere but it's nice and easy to snipe 84's as they appear often on the market.
There's a knack to passing, it helps to have the direction line thing turned on and you need to hold it down or just tap it, depending on distance etc etc. then you've got to take into account room for error when using players with passing in the 60's and 70's.
Squad Battles is the mode that identifies just how important having the best players is, it's so much easier with a top squad, Legendary can feel like amateur when you're using icons and what not.

Team I’m currently using after selling off a lot of my players. I packed Kanté so only really Neymar and Pogba left, don’t think I’ll sell them. Tried to use untradeables and then cheap players to complete the rest of the team.
Got 1.5 million left but haven’t decided how I’ll spend it yet. I want an icon but not settled on which one. Ideally it would be Ronaldinho, he’s one of my favourite players but he’s slightly out of my price range right now (91 version).
The game is starting to really **** me off. Rivals is a sweat fest, I don't get why there's no tournaments and seasons for chilled out games. If you don't have a half decent team you can kiss good bye to your skill rating and record in rivals. I just can't compete and its making me want to spend my coins.
Best team tends to have more passing options, more space, more pressure and lucky bounces.

Absolutely, but its meant to be about skill not how much money you've got in the bank, and no i dont expect bronze players to match gold players and so on, but theres a real discrepancy with low/mid tier gold teams to high end gold teams to then icon teams.
