Stats aren't everything. 89 Eusebio isn't too far off the Prime and is heavily favoured by pro players so he must do the job well.
Will report back when I've played some games with mine.

used them both. defensively matuidi is better. but he is left footed and 2 star weak foot with crap passing.
paulinho is the far better player (all rounder). i played him as a CAM with hawk and at CM too. he is really really good for the money he is a bargain. i was even thinking of getting rid of Blue Allan for him but I think Allan is better defensively. if it was a CM then Paulinho all the way.
Cheapest one out there is 2.75mil right now, with only 2.9mil to play with here I think i'm just gonna add a few others in:

French league or French nationality? You can filter on high/high work rates on futbin.

for those with joelinton future (managed to do SBC for like 3K using an 89 isco i had packed in an untradeable pack from that 82+ upgrade thing) what chemistry? i'm thinking marksman. looks insane with marksman on.

sort them by stamina then matuidi has really good stamina. maybe kondogbia with hunter, he has a lot of special cards too iirc.

Just managed to do it with mostly untradeables and crap WL picks.
I did originally have Kondogbia - Kante and Pogba but felt I was too light in midfield when coping with counter attacks so wanted a box to box, it did make a big difference having Matuidi but he just seems a bit naff on the ball.

probably more to do with formation and custom tactics then. those 3 are really good players. kante is similar to fabinho. kondogbia is similar to sms. pogba is unique. the only other player really is matuidi but you already have kante i'd want to keep 2 powerhouses alongside him. maybe try 4231 in custom tactics and play pogba as CAM? but set him to come back and help on defense. his stamina will take a hammering though.

yeah great review it's why i was looking to get him. his card looked insane for the money. you are essentially getting a player worth 200K for 35K

pretty much says it all luckily i had an isco untradeable to use. so all he has really cost me is an isco. i didn't want to spend all my coins as i only have about 15k left after lafont.
