i had a game where it was literally stop start lag the whole way through it. so when i played a normal game after it felt like it had been sped up times 10. they need to invest in decent servers. the difference in gameplay from one game to the next is a joke

how do you take power free kicks like that? i had some guy just smash one straight at my keeper and it hit off him and went in. they are ridiculous

Hold the LB button, take it to about 3 bars and hope for the best. That one was kinda lucky with the deflection, but if your right outside the box and the move their keeper thinking you're gonna curl it then blasting it the other way is super effective...

Lb and 3 bar power if you are 30 yards out. Pretty consistent and easy to do.

What would be peoples top tips for improving? I have been stuck in gold 2/3 since the start of the last Fifa. I just can't seem to get to 20 wins. I've played a few in this thread and they can probably vouch for my semi-decent level of skills.

Try not to be cynical with any tips as I know buying Ronaldo, R9 and TOTY Mbappe would improve my results.

Greenmint Socrates is favoured by many. Maradona whilst fun is small and can be pushed off the ball.
