I've been trying the crossing stuff tonight, whilst I didn't score anything directly it's definitely something I'm gonna try and implement more, moreso because Crespo has the power header trait and both Neymar/Mbappe are 5* skillers

As for Casemiro I'm gonna do it, costs around 260k for me and if he does well I can move Kante (which does seem mad); he just fits too well into my team to kinda pass up at CDM
 
G1 achieved with 1 game to spare. Last 2 wins had to grind out. Rarely face teams without mbappe,neymar and potm hazard now.

Why do some people think the flaws in this game are just YouTuber/pros complaining, giving EA a free pass for creating trash is worse than pretending people are just overly critical.

They’ve taken billions in profit from FUT and there’s things like defenders standing on the halfway for corners while your Kante marks front post.

i'm glad someone else has noticed this. it's been in the game for 10+ years. ridiculous how they get away with it. why none of the pro's have pulled them up about this is beyond me. but i suppose EA pay their bills so don't bite the hand....

all positions are important tbh it's picking the right players for the position within budget that is the issue. also depends completely on your playstyle.

i just beat a guy who was using 343 it finished 2-1 but it was a tough game with him literally having 2 sets of wingers. i notices my full backs wouldn't stay back and my wingers wouldn't stay forward even though i had told them to. the 343 formation broke my custom tactics. so i couldn't play how i wanted to play so i had to adapt.

teams this week were all insane. full of icons now too. POTM REUS is another which is very popular
 
Bottled it, last game has me tilted as hell.

First game, guy has a better team than me, don't see that often. 2-0 down, won it 4-3.
Second game, averagte team with TOTY Mbappe, guy was very good but 4 goals from first time finesse shots facing away from the goal, lost 5-1.
Third game, I was the better play, team of the year players miss FIVE gilt edge chances, two of those could be from bad decision making, other three were fifa screwing me. He gets a corner goal, he gets a penalty when his player wins the ball in a situation he never should win the ball ever. 1 in game minute later he steam rolls me in the box, most blatant pen you've seen, nothing given, I rage quit.
 
Yeah the potential totw is garbage but I went for G1 to try and get players for prime nakata. Another cheap non meta icon to add to my team.
 
Scored a couple from el tornado cross but they were just knock downs and shots rather than headers. Think I need to keep L1 pressed when I cross, I wasnt doing that.
 
Got FS Guendouzi last night as a Rijkaard replacement, so much better in every way, genuinely one of the most hard working cards I've ever used, boy is everywhere!
 
Futmas Van Aanholt has been superb at scoring headers/defending crosses. I think he's scored 4-5 headers from corners over the WL. For a LB that's a great return :)
Also playing Baresi at CDM alongside RTTF R.Sanches and they've both been great together. Was tempted to do Joelton/A.Davies but think I'll save my coins/players for now.
 
Casemiro done, cost me around 190k with that I had in the club so with added packs can't complain too much. Still got Kante on the side in case it doesn't work out
 
a lot of the future cards are stupidly OP for the coins. i wish i had a spare 600K.

that french RW is quite frankly ridiculous as are a lot of the other players. de jong is a beast.

they are icon players but for only 150K a pop
