I think sometimes mentally you could have lost the game before its started, looking at the ridiculous teams you face. At least you don't know the type of player when you see them on the pitch (what type icon, what version of CR7 etc) - I know you see the card when they score.

It depends on you. In destiny when playing trials you could type in the name of 1 of your opponents into a website and it would tell you what the full squad of 3 were rocking. What class they were. What super they were using. What grenade. Primary, secondary and special weapons, etc. So you knew everything about them. You could also see their win streak, number of times flawless and their k/d.

One of the guys I played with who had a 3 k/d didn't want to know anything another who had a 3.7 k/d wanted to know it. One of them felt it put you under pressure the other thought it gave you an advantage as you knew how they were going to play.

It's purely personal preference.
 
Oh of course, I'm sure players look to see what formation the opposition is playing and choose one to counter it.

I just seem to play more relaxed not knowing which version of Mbappe/Cruyff/Messi or how many red cards they've got from doing well in the WL they have, that in itself is demoralising! I don't think it's a coincidence that I'm doing much better in games.

I’m in Div 1 now too, won something like 15 games in a row. Either I’ve sussed out tactics that suit me, or opponent quality has dropped.

The other day I struggled in every game.
 
1 win away for the FutSwap objective. Sitting on 15k points on Div 1 at the minute and may grind for Rank 1 and take 80k coins

Depends where the ball is, if the opposition team is around your area and they keep the ball, get a corner etc the whistle will never go until you boot it out or clear it
 
Vardy and Jag on my picks, can't complain. Also got IF Dante, Allan and Alli from packs. Took 61k for Div 1 R2 rewards.
 
De Rossi and De Paul rewards, SBC fodder.
Got about 30k from the packs.

Chose the 70k coins for rivals although not sure what I'm saving for at the moment!

Took the cash from rival's.

De Gea did pop out and say hello from one of the mega packs.
