FIFA 20

Hi everyone, Just got FIFA for Christmas off the Mrs, not played it for a few years and feel like I need a few questions answering.

When playing FUT, back in FIFA 16’ (I think) you could play through the divisions against AI or other users and the difficulty increased the higher you climbed, I can’t seem to find this anymore, is it hidden away or can you only play other users and their teams via AI?

In the marketplace when searching for certain players, I noticed the sameness player priced at 300 coins and a bid of 400 placed on them, every.single.card. Is it some sort of bot or actual player who’s hoarding cards?

How come, when I’ve first started up and got my bang average team does it suggest I play teams who are 89+ rated? It’s only going to end one way.

FUT seems to have changed since I last played it, it’s going to take some getting used to.
 
No more single player divisions, they have been replace by squad battles where you play against teams and at the end of the week you get packs and coins as rewards.

People will be mass bidding on cards. A lot of people hope to buy cheap so they can sell on to make a profit.

It's three months or so into the cycle so even your poor, low ranked players will have decent teams now. Try and do some SB and online rivals matches for some rewards and you'll end up with a semi decent team in a few weeks.

A lot of them low rated and from the less popular leagues (Ligue 1 and Bundesliga at least) which I think makes chemistry a bit of an issue.
I don't think Mendy looks that good.
I think I'd prefer Mbappe over Ben Yedder and Werner. Maybe a few other strikers I'd prefer to them as well.
Allan's ok but I think there are better.
And Neymar's going to be rarer than rockhorse ****. I do like that his card is a CAM though.
 
Red picks were great and annoying at the same time. Got Neymar as one of them which is great but I’ve had his base untradeable since the start and over 800 games with him which is sad as he will not see many more games. Other pick as rubbish and chucked into 86+ sbc which only gave me 3 86 players so took Gnarby.
 
Best I got in my reds was Kolarov, which wasn't so bad as I use his 84 IF, so was an upgrade, but the Shadow card I need for it costs more than the 84 IF sells for...

Did get IF Allan in my WL packs though. Not sure if to keep or sell for 100k. Wondering if I can get NIF Neymar and NIF Mbappe in my team, so need all the coins I can get.
 
Terrible rewards again.

Can't believe the guy a few posts above isn't delighted getting Neymar. Who cares if you have an untradeable NIF one.
 
Swaps are so dead. First lot was better. Essien is the king but the graft/time taken is just insanity. Blanc, zambrotta or Del Piero maybe for me.

Really it’s easy enough to do over the next 2 weeks. I just play legendary against the Bronze teams, go 5-0 and leave it for an easy win.
Already done 2 tonight while watching the United game.
