Reading some of the comments on Reddit and the EA forums, the patch sounds awesome to be fair.
Fitness glitch is indeed gone and the Legendary AI in Squad Battles just drop back making it much harder to score. Very little else has changed
Want fitness cards now? Buy packs. Elite or Top 100 rewards in Squad Battles treating you good? Say goodbye to those! Buy packs.
Edit: Managed to get all of the fut swap tokens bar the WL one now. Dropped from 900 odd points in Rivals to 234 and that wasn't on purpose to make it easier. Had very few first owner cards left so played with a poverty team and got absolutely smashed in 95% of the games I played.

but aren’t the challenges trading in your icon cards?
You get tokens for each challenge you complete. You then eventually swap them tokens for an icon

Think i've settled on Rivaldo and Guardiola for icon swaps. Rivaldo has poor 2* weak foot but i really want to get my untradable Neymar into my team. In the long run I plan to get Ronaldo to link with him but that's going to take ages so Rivaldo will have to do for now.
Other option is take Rio and Guardiola then buy Rivaldo.

standard 41212, I did consider Carlos but have untradable Alba that I want to fit in as well. It’s a pain formation as the midfielders have so many links.
Can't you just start in a formation to fit the players in then change in game to 41212?
Don’t sell them yet. The market will be flooded...

I could do but I generally don’t like to. I loved Rivaldo in real life so would like to get him in game but his 2* weak foot worries me. Might just buy him to see how he plays.
You're hindering yourself not doing so. I'd agree with you if it involved pausing the game and changing everything, that did my head in.

Can you use the different mentalities to change formation in game? Start on balanced on a formation that suits your players but have attacking or defensive as 41212?
Yup. You can have 4 custom tactics setup. I have 4231, 4321, 41212(2) and 433.

Nah that happens around January time when they really **** it up and autoblocks and lunges come back. Shame they fixed the fitness bug I was making a fortune buying cards at 500 and for some reason I managed to sell hundreds of them at 1000. Being doing it on an off for about 2 weeks.

Thanks. For some reason I've always tweaked the mentalities but never thought about changing the formation.
I've read a load about this fitness glitch but only cottoned on to what it was two days and 50+ squad fitness cards used later
