Nah was Rafael iirc, who then got sent off due to some play acting by Luiz.

Thing is, he also does what he just did far too much. He ends up down a lot of dead ends and loses the ball too often for a £60m player, and this is against a Mexico defence. I'd be interested in seeing what he does against the Italians.

Brasil started brightly in the first half but sort of fizzled out and Mexico came in to the game much more towards the end of the first half.

Second game is much more even.

Yep indeed sometimes he just tries to be too fancy rather than be direct. Maybe at Barca he will stop his fancy tricks and try to be more direct.

Brazil and Italy is gonna be a good game...Brazil will have to really improve from tonight to beat Italy.

Yeah, I agree with that. Don't get me wrong, Neymar can be spectacular when he has space, and might be a very, very good player. But I've not seen him do it against a genuinely good defence yet.

That said, I've only seen him play against a decent defence in friendlies which never really tell you much about a player. As you say, at Barca where he's not the top dog, he might be a little less selfish and pass the ball, in which case he could be a brilliant signing. It's not a given yet though.
