FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013 15-30 June *** Spoilers ***

I'm not sure what you expect from this type of player. With the runs he goes on you're not going to get absolute consistency unless you're at a low level. Whether that is a bad thing or not is up for you to decide I guess.

This is not a comparison between the two but I accept that Ben Arfa will sometimes run himself into a corner just on that slight chance we'll see something wonderful, by assisting someone else or setting himself up. Then again, I support one of the worst footballing teams.

You expect them to know when to run and when not to. The difference between Ronaldo and Nani, for example, is that Ronaldo knows when to give it and when to run. Nani runs himself into corners and dead ends far more often. It doesn't make Ronaldo any less spectacular or effective a player, it merely makes him more consistent.

Neymar still needs to learn that. I'm not saying he can't, but he needs to.

And what a pass by Neymar...Brazil finish it off 2-0.

Now that's Neymar at his best...too greedy eh?? :p

Meh took Brazil long enough to kill off the game lol.

Wasn't exactly a great game and Mexico were unlucky not to get a goal.

Yep, one or two passes definitely cancel out general greedy play :o

When he's won his team the game.... yes

It's one thing being crap and being selfish with the ball it's another knowing you're head and shoulders above your team mates and taking it upon yourself to win the game

Just because he scored one and set one up, doesn't mean he isn't greedy. It might redeem him when it pays off like it has today but it doesn't change that his play is generally quite greedy in nature.

Right and? If he's good enough he's justified. Ronaldo hardly gets buckets of assists a season but no one is going to be stupid enough to use that as a negative against him

And what? I said he was a greedy player because that's how I see it, more often than not he won't make the pass and goes for the showy skill or barely there shot. Sometimes it pays off, especially against weaker defences but I think it could be his undoing unless he tones it down when he moves to Europe.

If you think it's a positive aspect to his play that will benefit him in the future, that's great, but I don't see it like that and I don't think it will work for him at Barcelona, it will just lead to him losing the ball a lot.

with respect Ps3ud0 isn't paid tens of thousands of euros a week to do exactly that... good point though...
So its you thats been through my bins!

I would have scored a Maicon like goal from there, but I wouldnt want to embarrass the Mexican GK. Im nice like that :)

In reality, my god that was a boring game, Brazil playing averagely against poor sides, not what Id expect.

ps3ud0
