What a huge game for Australia tonight. I have never seen the place like this aside from the AFL final if there are 2 Melbourne teams in it, which is generally the case. KO is 8pm local time, pubs are taking bookings and having to limit numbers. I walked to work down the local high st this morning and there are green and gold balloons and banners inside and outside of bars and restaurants, 12 hours before kick off. Mates who are neither into football nor womens sport are asking where are we going to watch it. World cup fever!
