FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 **spoilers** [20th July - 20th August 2023]

What a huge game for Australia tonight. I have never seen the place like this aside from the AFL final if there are 2 Melbourne teams in it, which is generally the case. KO is 8pm local time, pubs are taking bookings and having to limit numbers. I walked to work down the local high st this morning and there are green and gold balloons and banners inside and outside of bars and restaurants, 12 hours before kick off. Mates who are neither into football nor womens sport are asking where are we going to watch it. World cup fever!
I was pretty adamant a couple of weeks back I'd be watching zero minutes of this circus. Tonight you'll find me in front of the big screen in The Flying Duck from 7pm :cry:. Ho'way the Lionesses

Kerr was about a metre or more offside there. Lineswoman should have flagged that immediately.
 
I was watching that thinking "greedy bint, you've got a player in the open on your left" but what a strike!
