God I hate Townsend "you can't let them shoot in international football, at international level they hit the ball so hard and so true".... yeah, Barca, utd, City players, they can't hit a straight ball with power, but step up to international level and you have better strikers of the ball.

I hate people who act like international football is a step up and that players are a different level, it's so unbelievably stupid. How Townsend still gets paid to do commentary I do not know.

All this press talk about Rooney fascinates me. I have thought he was overrated for quite a while now. He's just been shown up by Ox, Lambert and Barkley. His place should be in doubt.

Totally agree that Wilshere has been awful in this match. England with plenty to do.
