Seriously though, at the QF you expect to face a top team. VERY rarely you manage to face an average team at the QF, and if you do, they eliminated a favorite in the groups/round of 16

Loving this WC as an almost neutral!
Lallana immensely over rated. All the clamour and hype for his inclusion prior to the world cup, he had chances to impress against much lesser opposition than Italy but failed to shine.

And yes that's very true, but after the first couple of days... they're probably the 2 teams you want to avoid. Other than Costa Rica!

Spot on. They're like Argentina-lite. Decent (allegedly) defence, excellent up top, but a weak midfield.
It's the same reason that, for me, Argentina won't win it this year. They'll get found out be teams which are strong in the middle.
