Yep Chiellini is a CB and is quite useless when he attacks and has poor control and touch on the ball. He is playing out of position as a LB.

Lost my respect for Prandelli after he said that Chiellini's foul on Pjanic wasn't violent. A national team manager represents a nation not a club. You can't defend one player and throw a number of players under the bus (Destro, De Rossi, and basically anyone who was excluded due to Italy's code of conduct). Also, what about allowing Balotelli's antics, and punishing others after the smallest mistake?

He called up a bunch of players who don't deserve to be there. Look at Paletta today, he is horrible and doesn't deserve to be in the 23.

I wouldn't mind seeing Italy out at the group stages if it means Prandelli leaves. It was announced that he signed a contract until 2016, bt it seems like it will be signed after the world cup. Who knows, maybe if he does terrible he might leave.
