There's nothing linking the Argentina attack and defence. The attackers chasing back so just stand on the spot when they lose the ball and the defence aren't really getting forward which is leaving a massive hole in midfield.

I think the problems with England run deeper than the manager in all honestly Gilly.

I doubt he could organise the squad of players any better than what Hodgson has. He may have blooded say Luke Shaw or given more game to Wilshere but is there anyone outside those that have travelled who you would have included
 
^ I'd of taken Adam Johnson maybe..natural left footer, he was putting shifts in at Sunderland last season, he did well.
