Costa Rica whenever I have seen them have looked great mind (I didn't bother with the England game after 10mins) and would make for a great story if they progressed.


Shame for Neymar though...

Scored a couple of good goals and plays the game the right way. You never know what lies ahead, this may have been his best opportunity to win the World Cup. Certainly the only chance to lift the trophy at home - feel sorry for the guy.

Ref only gave a yellow to Brazil after their 42nd foul in the game i believe. That game needed a strong ref to be brave and dish out the yellow cards early when they were man handling Rodriguez.

Despite Brazil committing 32 fouls all game ?

He's out for over a month. If the ref had started booking people for some of the fouls going on maybe this wouldn't have happened but he was happy to leave it as a South American kicking match. The refereeing in the match was sub standard. It has opened up the tournament but I still think they'll be there at the end.

I thought the same thing letting the game flow is all well and good. But at some point you need to pull out a yellow draw that line.

Feel a bit for Neymar not his biggest fan but at least he's played for his country for correct reasons. That was clear to see.

It wasn't a hard tackle at all. It was a knee to the back with no attempt to get the ball whatsoever. He also did a career ender on Hulk aswell..

Totally agree. Gutted Neymars out but the ref was a joke. Needed somebody strong to take control of the game early on, something he didn't do at all. Couldn't believe how much the Brazilian's got away with on James Rodriguez.
