FIFA World Cup 2014 - Semi-finals [8th - 9th July] **spoilers**

Honestly, just give Germany the cup now, call the end to this game, they should all happily accept joint last for being so utterly ****. None of the three deserve to be in the final, it's embarrassing teams playing this poorly can be in it.

Robben messes up again... seriously, about 94 too many touches there.

Germany hardly set things in fire until their last game.

Whoever makes it through, they won't be a defensive shambles like Brazil. Germany will only be slight favourites.

Germany were great in the first game, entertaining in the second and third. Good against France and excellent against Brazil. Argentina have been shocking against everyone, Holland have been dire since Kuyt has been in the team.

Holland were entertaining for three games but have been just inept since then with such poor style, no attacking intent, midfielders who constantly shy away from making a forward pass. I don't think RVP has had a genuinely good through ball to run on to or cross to head in the entire 90 minutes... that is truly pathetic.

Both Argentina and Holland have looked poor defensively over and over again. Iran got through on Argentina time and time again just without any quality upfront, as have other teams. The only reason Argentina don't look terrible defensively is that Holland have barely tried to pass to their striker... which they've not tried for a couple of games now. LIkewise Argentina have gotten in/around the Holland defence despite them looking poor up front. They are making each others defenses look significantly better than they are with a lack of attacking intent and crap quality passing in the final third.

Germany will be stonkingly huge favourites for the final.

Jesus h christ.... Kuyt, first touch 5 yards away from goal, second touch identical high looping cross which usually goes straight out.... he has one cross and hasn't tried anything different all night. How is he on the pitch, out right refuses to try and run at the defender and maybe pass in to the box, just the same god awful cross all night long.
 
You know something is seriously wrong when Kuyt - at wing back - has had most of the ball going forward for Holland. :o
