FIFA World Cup 2018 - Final [15 July] **spoilers**

Commiserations to Croatia, they really surprised me with how well they played up till the final.

Just wasn’t their day.
 
Croatia got gimped there, France gifted the World Cup and Croatia able to do nothing but try and chase an illegitimate lead.

At least my fantasy team was stacked with France players but it would have been nice to see them actually have to win the game properly

Just a shame the S American teams ie Brazil and Argentina didn’t bother turning up this time round.

Must have been watching a different final and indeed a different WC.

France were less than convincing.

Also that final was ruined by the ref.
 
Fair dues, good match.

I'm drunk, my foot doesn't hurt, must remember it's still **** 'ed.

1st half pen was clear as day - easy hand to ball decision

Nothing at all illegitimate about France's lead at all well deserved all around.

Croatia were lucky to be gifted a 2nd by Lloris' howler, but certainly worked incredibly hard (and were much much better than against England).
 
Great World Cup Final :)

France certainly turned it up a notch in the second half

Croatia can hold their heads up high, they had a great game.
