It's simply a fact that Griezmann dived for the free kick.

It's also a fact that some very controversial penalties have been awarded throughout the tournament.

Both just facts.

If you think being highly qualified makes you infallible then there's not much that's going to convince you, so I won't bother trying.
 
It's just great to see football being played at this level in the final of a big tournament.

And now we're back to the diving and play-acting. Time football seriously did something about this, it totally spoils the game.

But I will go with their decisions over yours any day of the year

And a fact you disagree with is just as valid as a fact you do agree with.

Amazing final, much better than the last few finals I have watched.

Congrats France well deserved winners, by far the best team in the WC this year.

Just a shame the S American teams ie Brazil and Argentina didn’t bother turning up this time round.

Also loving the butthurt fans in here saying France don’t deserve to win the WC.

Wasn’t a free kick and Griezmann should have been booked

It was a pen- his hand went from a fist to a hand shape to pat the ball.

That first decision was awful

Croatian keeper looked injured too.

France looked like Real Madrid. Compact unit and pump the ball to the three super talents and hope for the best. Mourinho must have been loving it

Just ****** off with the incompetence on show from the officials and FIFA's doing sweet FA to counteract it. It's getting worse and worse and no one seems bothered by it.

I started watching football in the late 60s and it's like night and day now compared to then (and not in a good way).
