Where are Brazil’s fans and players claiming this?
 
I was watching a few highlights videos of their qualifiers and recent internationals and if anyone dared to claim Brazil weren't the best thing since sliced bread or accused any of their players of diving they we're jumped on by a lot of Brazilians. I know football fans are a bit nuts but this was like someone had insulted their mum.
 
I was disappointed with Brazil. I am not sure how they rated as one of the Tournament Favourites? Maybe they might get better over the next two games, but, to me they don't look any better than they did during the last World Cup. If Neymar gets injured they are going to crash and burn just like last time.

I had them down as one of the favourites pre tournament. On paper if/when the attacking talent clicks it would be lethal. Plus less reliant on neymar with coutinho, jesus, willian to name a few who can change matches themselves

That's what I was expecting on Paper, but, that's not what happened in reality. Coutinho's goal was really good, but, the only player that looked capable of unlocking the Swiss defence was Neymar. Willian did a lot of nice looking moves without ever really accomplishing anything and, apart from the goal, Coutinho did very little. Their Central midfield is very weak. Paulinho can't pass the ball. Also Neymar is non existent in defence. Better teams than Switzerland will destroy them down that left hand side.

I hope this was just first game nerves, the tournament needs the magic that Brazil bring.
 
I have so little sympathy for players like Neymar, they are super skilful but they dive so much and make a meal out of every contact. He invites challenges and then acts like he has been shot at the lightest touch. No wonder he was "fouled" 10 times in their opening match.
