FIFA World Cup 2018 - GROUP F [Germany, Mexico, Sweden, Korea Republic - 17/18/23/27 June] **spoiler

Kroos is an amazing player, stop getting so excited and talking more guff than usual.

Yeah, Kroos wasn't culpable throughout the tournament for Germany, it's not like his woeful passing led directly to goals in games and multiple counter attacks that could have let goals in. Outside one freekick he did absolutely nothing useful and was constantly giving it away.

Whenever Real aren't playing well it's usually Kroos who stands out as the least effective guy on the pitch, poor defensively and not creating much going forward. When everyone else creates space for him, and for Ozil, is the only time either look effective.

Otto Von Bismarck, Jurgen Klinsmann, David Hasslehof, Michael Fassbender, Frans Beckenbeauer, Nina, Beethoven, Angela Merkel, Boris Becker! Can you hear me!?

Your boys took one hella of a beating! One hell of a beating!!

Top work Sir cameraman. :p

Those young ladies should have spent the day with me. I could have massively disappointed them both in a matter of minutes. :p

Beating the defending champions is an achivement surely? Plus they were already eliminated so it was just a game for them. They won it. Nowt wrong with being happy.

Don t remember Salah celebrating like that when they won their last game.

Okay you got me I'm german. (Not) i just think its like a team getting relegated but celebrating hevause they win their last game against a team that also got relegated...

WOW!! Germany out!! Just catching up on todays result.

Korea 2 Germany 0. Amazing.

I thought Mexico were looking really good and they go and lose 3-0 and need a miracle to get through.

What a fantastic World Cup this is.

While I have no l9ve for Germany it is amusing to see South more celebrating a last minute goal like they won the world cup when they qte on fhr nexy flight home anyway

I think it says something about how seriously their team is taking the World Cup, pouring effort and ambitions into it, and whilst they'd be extremely disappointed to miss out on the knock out stages they're clearly elated at not having gone out with a whimper and beaten a sizeable team in their last game. It would be disappointing if they didn't celebrate such a win, as it would show how dispassionately they're taking the competition. If you remove emotion from the sport you're not left with much else - a victory against a better competitor should always be celebrated, particularly as it was expected that South Korea would finish bottom of the group - so they've beaten expectations.

Their subs ran on the pitch and celebrated like it was a cup clinching goal.

Perhaps some dignity in losing the war but winning the battle mentality was more meaningful..

Not at all - if I supported a team that was expected to finish bottom of my group, yet didn't finish fourth and in the process beat the former world champions... I'd go ******* nuts and celebrate like I'd won the cup. Different teams have different expectation levels, and to remove celebration and emotion at surpassing expectations is miserly and missing the point of sport.

They were celebrating because they weren't told the result of the other game until afterwards. The players thought they were through to the next round. That's why they went from cheering to crying so fast.
