One thing about this squad, it has options to freshen up and still play within the system Gareth wants. Good balance in the picks.

Didn't realise Tripper was so good as well. Pushed this team forward at every chance

Should've been out of sight after 20 minutes, should've had two penalties but a win's the most important thing. Beat Panama and we're through :)

Trippier MOTM, the rest largely average to awful.

No chances. Bent ref. Repeatedly assaulted. Still gets 2 goals. He’s the hero we need
 
Football's coming home! If only lingard can finish we would have walked that. A lot of negativity here. Okay second half was a little slow but we played a hell of a lot better than France and Brazil. Only really Spain/Portugal were better.
