There's a whole heap of problems down Tehran way at the moment and the Iranian captain has come out siding with the protestors that the government are slaughtering on the street, a very brave move. Rooting for the Iranians in this one, would be a great message and highlight what's happening there.

Apart from the upcoming Fifa sponsored world cups at China (post invasion of Taiwan) and North Korea (post nuclear launches at South Korea), I can't think of anywhere I'd rather not go than catarrh to watch a WC.
