FIFA World Cup 2022 Group E ** spoilers ** (Spain, Costa Rica, Germany, Japan)

They've shown it twice but still keep saying they have not seen any evidence, too busy moaning and not looking at the bloody tele
It was McCoist during the game when they showed the shot looking straight down line and he says not to use that because it’s not the best angle. What an idiot, half of them had to have it explained to them what constitutes the ball leaving the field of play.

Reminds me of the game recently when a player deliberately stopped the ball on the line like that and left it for the defender to take a throw in and got a foul when the defender picked it up. School boy stuff this.

Genuinely embarrassing how many people don't know anything outside of the very basic rules. Seeing the 'sleeve handball' ***** parroted constantly gives me an aneurysm.

It's doesn't look out there but when you cross reference that image with the video, that doesn't look to be the point when the Japanese player's foot touches the ball.

Not that I mind though :D

Looked like it went out to me, but someone mentioned it earlier, VAR would have to prove categorically that it went out of play for it be considered a clear an obvious error by the ref. The fact everyone is argueing about whether it was in/out demonstrates that wasn't the case. Therefore, harsh on the Germans but the right decision I think...

Ball is touching the line here.

If you look at that angle and realise the camera isn’t actually directly above the line but to its left. Even at this angle it looks to be touching.

Now you move the camera to the right a little, then the ball will overhang the line, meaning it’s still in.

All these new rules and changes etc have just made things worse

VAR too

shame football hasn't been able to adapt like other sports , shambles
