That was a very good result and performance, aside from some slightly suspect defending early on.
We looked worse after the subs, Grealish and Rashford didn't offer much in the end, nor did Mount.
France will of course be a much more difficult game, but outside of Mbappe we have an equal or better starting 11. The problem is, Mbappe is so good he could win it for them on his own with relative ease.

I was about to say similar re both the teams. I'd argue England's midfield is superior though.
