Aye, the female thing is a load of tosh. People make it about it being a female because of comments like these. The likes of Jenas, Owen, McManaman, etc etc have been ribbed for years for the crap they mistakenly (I hope, mistakenly) say.

They occasionally get a good "guest pundit" in who is really good but people with sensible measured opinions don't get the attention that the controversial ones generate.
Of course it's not, it's just laughing at a hilarious gaff - people do it all the time with the likes of Merson etc. Hell I think Jenas said something about Minimino having 'failed' in Germany despite never playing in Germany during the game last night. Some posters just can't wait to come charging in with their shiny armour on tho.

Considering I'm not watching the games I just thought it was funny and highlighted how crap punditry in general is in this country. Apparently she's also said Jimmy Greaves scored a hattrick in a wc final so I think she fits in quite well, probably deserves a gig alongside Merson and Stelling on sky with that level of knowledge thoSimple gaff, move on and forget about it....

Exactly Owen gets ridiculed all the time, people quoting him. Claiming that's it's just because she's female is quite boring and lazy.
