Me too. Why was she hitting it with a baseball bat? What was that going to prove other than she can squeal lots, dance about a bit and shout 'sorry baby' over and over. It's not in any way going to stop the car running or prove/disprove Merc reliabilty so why bother? Crap tele tbh.

Even a perodua stood up to clarkson and his sledgehammer on his heaven and hell dvd so doesn't really prove Mercs are well built. At least smashing the perodua infront of the dealer it was just bought from was funny.

I really want to like 5th gear, but it's just oh-so-bad. It'd be ok if they just made it as a straight motoring programme without trying to ape Top Gear. They just haven't got the presenters. As much as I may loathe JC as a human being, I can't deny he's a good presenter and the three of them on TG are excellent, while those on 5th Gear are awful.
