Does Michael McIntired count as a 'TV Star'? Or is he just a fabulously gifted comedian?
Who's that?Does Michael McIntired count as a 'TV Star'? Or is he just a fabulously gifted comedian?
He was that awful in person? Tell us more!Ewan McGregor - Trainspotting was his pinnacle, Shallow Grave was very good as was Moulin Rouge.
The rest of his roles seems dialed in and all money grabs. Then i met him irl and it's true what they say, don't meet your heroes. I can't watch anything with him in it now
He wasn't horrible and i know he is an actor, buuuuuut............He was that awful in person? Tell us more!
Tom Cruise - Love the actor, dislike the scientologist.
Gary Lineker - Love the footballer, dislike the very overpaid presenter.
James Woods - Love the actor, dislike the RW vitriol.
Ron Perlman - Love the actor, dislike the LW vitriol.
Phil Anselmo - Love the singer, dislike the repeated white power "jokes".
Mel Gibson - Love the actor, dislike the anti-Jew stuff.
Whoopi Goldberg - Love the Comedian/Actor, dislike the LW vitriol.
Etc etc.
Those are a few of the ones I've personally lost respect for, once they allowed their true self to show-up, some of which are pre-SM and some post-SM exposure. I'm sure that there's plenty of other famous people that other folks now feel the same about ever since seeing the previously "hidden/protected" side exposed by their own behaviour on SM.
He came out to Afghan to visit the troops and i got to spend some one on one time with him (oo-er). We were getting rocketed daily several times - he was just very quiet, yes/no answers and was bricking it, he couldn't wait to get out of there - i think it was a wake up call for him as to what the troops were experiencing and it was a far far different experience to Hollywood's glitz and glamour.
When i see him on screen now playing the action hero and saving the world and then seeing him in a real life threatening situation, it sort of shattered the illusion of him if you know what i mean?

Cage has flat out admitted recently he took on a lot of roles and put in minimum effort just for the paychecks.I'll say it. Nicholas Cage. He can be a good actor but most of the time he's like a drama student just trying way too hard.

Grow a beard pal.Gerard Butler. Every film is the same and the wife insists on watching every single one of them despite them being absolute garbage. Unsure why.
Rebel Wllson and Ruby Rose. (added them both together as they're Australian and female).
Dislike level: Irrational, punchable.
Both just seem super smug and arrogant to me even though they have achieved very little, imo. Definitely feel like punching the screen when they are on. Pitch Perfect 2 was particularly hard to get through with both of them in it.

Rylan Clark. He is somehow everywhere and I don't understand what people like about him
Whilst the point of this thread isn't to change people's minds, check out his more serious films on Netflix.
Dwayne Johnson -- Another one that is basically the same character in every movie. How so many movies gravitate to a roided up ex wrestler is mind boggling.
