Glad it was only a 6 month exclusive. Hope they don’t want silly moneys for it though. I will be on the look out for a key that is sub 40.

at GMG to drop it to £39.75 guys. I caved in as I fancy playing it now and for the sake of saving £5-£10 I did not want to wait until later on in the year as I maybe even busier by then.

My main concern was I am not seeing this on any key sites so it might be from authorised sellers only meaning price won’t come down so easily. Probably won’t be a significant discount until winter sales and I don’t fancy waiting. The original FF7 is one of my all time favourites so I don’t mind paying more than usual for this.

Tbf it also includes intergrade and all the extra deluxe items from the PS4/5 version. For £40 it’s a good deal, intermission on its own is £15

Had a quick bash, I was getting some annoying stutters and had to force DX11 to get rid of them. Maybe there are other workarounds. Other than that, it's great so far. The only problem is that GPU is hovering around 50-60% usage but the temps are pretty high, higher than in some other games that push the card more.

Have read this is happening to some people. There's a post on Steam with a few things besides DX11

-enable dx11 (right click the game in steam -> properties -> type "-force -dx11" into startup commands)
-turn the shadow resolution to low (this almost doesn't change anything)
-install the Dynamic Resolution Disabler Mod from Nexusmods
-Go to the Nvidia Control Panel and enable V-Sync, and set the low latency mode to "Ultra"
