why!?

i felt it was too easy. to let all my chars do whatever they wanted with set commands through gambits. i dunno, it just felt too...star ocean to me. and i didnt like the battle system on that either

There was no battle system in 12, you could defeat almost every enemy in the entire game including the final boss by walking beside him

I did enjoy XII's battle system, very much like XI's battle system.

no...

i never got past the demon gates. i got kinda bored up at that point. im glad i only bought the platinum cheap version, i felt very disapointed and empty after playing for some reason. it didnt live up to expectation for me.

I felt the same about the storyline, i did enjoy the gameplay though. I managed to defeat Yiazmat then called it a day, didn't bother with the final boss as i went to do the final mission and was killing everyone with a single hit - figured it wasn't any fun due to no challenge whatsoever.

So yeah, well played square, you made a final fantasy game with a storyline so uninspiring that i've never bothered to finish it.

indeed..

if they remade 7, for ps3, im sure a lot of fans old a new would buy it. I certainly wouldn't hesitate forking out another 35 quid to replay ff7 with refreshed graphics. just leave the gameplay/music/plot alone and it would be a winner!

Just got Crisis Core for the PSP today, cracking game. If you're a fan of the original FF7 then it's a must.

Oh, and if they remade FF7 for the PS3, I'd buy a PS3 just for that alone.
