Hey guys did a quick search couldn't see anything about it posted so here goes.

Just saw the trailer on IGN here:

Gotta say im thoroughly impressed, I thought it was all pre-rendered footage that was until the in game menus showed up :eek:

It may still be pre-rendered as obviously that stuf can be put on but if the game is anywhere near as detailed as that its gonna be great (graphically anyway)

Also another thing I liked about the trailer is that the main character is female, I like this decision as its been a long time since theres beena female lead within a FF game.
 
I hope they make FFXIII a bit darker and less girly cos I watched the trailer for like the 5th time and noticed it has a bit of the FFX-2 feel to it...esp the music.

Square-Enix held a pre E3 conference before Sony held theres.
Square really shocked the industry with FF13 as no one was expecting it considering 12 is'nt even out anywhere other than japan yet.

'Final Fantasy versus XIII' sounds interesting.
 
Looks purdy. But will it play like FFXII?.. or go back to turn based? Supposedly its being done by a combo of the Kingdom Hearts and the FFX teams. I haven't even scratched the surface of FFXII yet.. I keep dying :(

So crystal chronicles was a proper FF game? :p

Apart from X-2 has there ever been a female lead? 6 kinda did but really I see that more as not having a lead character, just some that are more relevant to the story than others.

One thing that worries me about it having guns and girls jumping all over the place, is that it might end up as FFX-2-2.
 
I just want magic, big, bad butt magic, ohhh yeh ;D

But on a more serious note, the game looks superb and I'm sure there is going to be even more polish to it before it hits the shelves :)

I don't think it's all pre-rendered, watched it 3 times to make sure but there is a very slight difference in graphics where the menus show up.


It looks awesome, me wants! :)

I'm hoping that isn't pre-rendered, but I never like to believe anything like that is that pretty until you see somebody playing it. I reckon a good couple of shots will probably be ingame or pre-rendered ingame, with a few extra camera tricks added which wouldn't happen normally during normal gameplay. We'll have to wait and see really, as MGS4 and Heavenly sword are the most believable games at the moment as to the level of detail the PS3 can do, and this looks a hell of a lot higher with regards to some of the things going on in the video, so that's leading me to doubt it.

Edit, reading the details on Gamespot, it appears the "entire trailer was rendered in-game" but you really have to take that with a pinch of salt, as that's what they tried to pull the Killzone video off as last year.
