Final Fantasy XV demo available

Did the tutorial and played for about an hour last night, not sure about the combat.

Trying to move the camera around to track enemy's seems a bit of a mess but it's early days so far.

Are you expected to do all the side missions?
 
Waiting for the Pro patch before I play but looking forward to it. I actually enjoyed XIII despite it's obvious flaws so I figure I'll easily enjoy this one too.
 
Isn't the 'Pro' patch already out, is the one in December not just an updated pro patch to iron out performance issues that exist at the mo?

Just finished watching Kingsglaive and I thought it was absolutely awesome, the cgi is out of this world and a story that genuinely had me hooked. The last FF game I played was VII - yeah yeah I know - so as someone who has been totally out of the loop I picked up the story and background lore from a bit of internet reading really easy.

I also watched the Brotherhood series and whilst it doesn't have the eye candy of Kingsglaive, it still helped with the story and the interesting origins of the 'brotherhood' forming.

EDIT - MODS, can we have a thread merge please with the other FFXV thread and a title change please?
