29/09/17 - Week 1, Day 4 - Deadlift, Bench

Paused deadlifts and close grip bench press to 1" board. Hips and shoulders were a side tight but neither caused any real problems with training today.

2ct Paused Sumo Deadlift

60kg x 5
90kg x 3
110kg x 3
125kg x 4
132.5kg(B) x 4
140kg(B) x 2x4

Much better than expected, could push maybe another 5kg next week. There's a good chance of pushing more but it's all about taking it slow and steady.

Close Grip 1(") Board Bench

Bar x lots
40kg x 5
50kg x 3
60kg x 5 - Introduced the board
65kg x 5
70g x 2x4

Same situation as with the deadlifts. Possibly undershot the weight for today but it gives room for improvement.

60kg x 5
100kg x 4x8

That was enough for today.

Fun session and plenty of room for improvements to be made. I was supposed to do curlz but ran out of time so I'll squeeze them in tomorrow.
