Personally i reckon might be just the game needs patching or drivers so maybe play somit else that runs better.
It's not that, I have a 3090 and mine runs fine.

Ah i didn't take into consideration of the 10900k being as thirsty as a 3080 lol. It's no wonder with my 9600k im drawing under 600w. I doubt theres going to be much difference if i upgraded to a 9900k power wise.3090s can pull well over 400 watts on their own, add in a power hungry 10900k and you are getting very close to the limit.
What can push you over the edge is as PSUs age their output reduces.
Far better to go with a bit of overkill and use at least a 1000W PSU with the above setup.
The other thing to remember is not all games and resolutions need the same amount of power to run, sometimes max settings and 2160p is a killer for PSUs.

'Buy a 5000w power supply' seems to be the internet's go-to answer for pc related issues atm.

750w is recommended "minimum" for the 3080 not 3090, which obviously will be more than 750 for minimum.
On NV website it's 750w for the 3090 too and that's based on a system using a 10900K.the recommended minimum is 850w for the 3090

Ah, not looked. So, AIB's 100w less efficient then for a hefty premium and minimal performance improvement?most aib models say 850w no?
. Tbh I'd go with 850 just to be safe but I think a 750w quality power supply would be more than enough. NV even state a lower rating might even be enough depending on system configuration
