Finally got my dream car :)

Spent some time changing all the blue and red alloy hardware for some more neutral silver stainless stuff. Also the sight gauge on the side of the oil catch tank was leaking when I got the car, it had been leaking for a while from the looks of it. The oily water had run under the tank and lifted the paint off so I took it out, got a bit of tube the right size for it and polished everything up. Got rid of the little bit of surface rust and repainted it having masked up everything with some tape and an entire newspaper.

These have one of the best, if not best 6 cylinder sound I've ever heard.

New airfilter foam fitted, the old ones were pretty grubby, switched to blue obviously.

I bought myself a DA a little while back form "clean your car.com"

The paint is pretty good over all but there are some swirls here and there and a couple of bad patches, one of which was at the top of the bonnet.

...some time later.....

works good, I was a bit frightened initially but I started with the lightest cuting stuff on the softest pad until I was confident in what I was doing.
