Finch / Funeral For A Friend - Bands like these?

I have "music swings".

Sometimes i really feel like listening to punk from the likes of Anti-Flag and other times i feel like a more indie approach from The Bravery. So at the moment i'm in a Finch/FFAF mood and i'm really loving this genre. Can anyone recomend any more bands like them? I tried last.fm but they threw up quite a mixture of bands that sound nothing like them and if they do, i already have their album.

Either way, my favourite song is 'Attack' on that album.

no the self titles first album. The best song on it is echelon. I love battle of one on beautiful lie.

also give "vertigo of bliss" and "infinty land" a listen as all thier albums are amazing!

check out hundred reasons if you like finch etc...they are very good..

Biffy Clyro, Hundred Reasons- all the albums are great, just pick one- and Hell is for Heroes- the first album Neon Handshake, not the second one as it's ****. All stunningly good bands. Refused, maybe? (download New Noise...)

They are a hell of a lot more like them than coheed.
Infact, more like them than the ones you left not bolded :confused:

Unless we are talking about FFAF's latest single and new finch stuff?
But I'd assume the juneu/what it is to burn days?

Brand new are depressive emo. TBS are stereotypical pop-emo and hawthorn are just gay.

Listen to Casually dressed and deep in conversation and then compare it to Coheed.

Then in turn, listen to deja entendu. Tell me which one you think sounds more alike, cos I bloody know it isn't the latter!

What it is to burn and Hours are a more progressive and moody sound, again - more akin to Coheed's newer stuff.

Finch's earlier stuff sounds more punk. Which is why I can understand SotY.

Hmm, to throw in a wildcard OP; try Boysetsfire.

Oh you did not! BSF were nothing like either of those bands. Each band cite them as an influence, but thats where any comparison stops. BSF were much more hardcore and in my opinion, much much better than ether band.

Sorry but you are wrong.
Brand new were one of the most original bands of their genre.
Coheed sound nothing like FFAF.

Boysetsfire are awesome but nowhere near any of these bands.
It's like me saying try some glass casket.
