Yup, you need stylish installed though.

Search "speed dial" on userstyles.org and there are about 6 good styles including a couple of opera styles.

Sorry I can't link to them I am typing this on my mobile :p

Weird, installed stylish, then the speed dial bit, but nothings changed? I admit I have zero knowledge of Firefox and cant find an option to maybe enable speed dial anywhere?

Yeah, confused me a wee bit when I first installed it as well.

I presume you have gone into the addons section and clicked on options for speed dial (via clicking the firefox button) and got these settings for speed dial:

And if so, right click on the tab bar (not tabs) and click customize, there should be a speed dial button that you can add, which when clicked, will bring you to speed dial page.

And if you want to enable speed dial to be your home page, so even when the home button is clicked, you will be brought to speed dial.

Oh?! After reading your posts again, I don't think you have actually installed the add-on speed dial? Sounds like you were looking for an option built in to firefox?

I went to stylish, installed it, then did the Speed dial add-on, but nothing:(

Is it because I have Firefox10?

Ok, I will go through the steps again, but from the start :):

What you need:

- Speed dial addon
- Stylish
- One of these user styles

When you install the addons, make sure you restart firefox, otherwise they won't work at all.

Once you have restarted firefox, click on the firefox button (orange button) then the addons button and under the extensions tabs, speed dial should be listed there, click on options for it and make sure you have these settings:

Now right click on the tab bar (not the tabs) and click customize, you should see speed dial buttons there, which you can drag to your main bar:

And if you want the home button to bring you to speed dial as well, do the below for home page under the main options for firefox:

And no, it works perfectly fine for me on waterfox 10.

Also, you guys know you can pin your fav sites to the Explorer taskbar icon yep?

When reading a site of test you're reading leeeeeeeeeeeeft to riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight instead of in paragraphed blocks up down, surely it's more legible that way!

I had always wondered why your Firefox was windowed! Your logic is sound though, I may just give it a try :)
 
test = text, damn typos!

but yes, I fllow this guideline after reading about it in an article some time ago, it makes you read sites like a book, up down, the right way, less fatiguing on the eyes as well :)
