Firefox 3.7 concept screenshots emerge at Mozilla Wiki

I am a bit bewildered by the pictures linked to, the browser mock-up looks pretty much like IE8 to me with the way I've got it configured. I guess if you physically look at it it must look different, but its weird, looking at a new FF mockup and I can't see much difference except for the shape a button or two, and some less options availalble.

Not keen. There's so much wasted space on the upper part of the window that you could easily get another toolbar in there. (As, indeed, I would, as I can't live without my bookmarks toolbar.)

More interesting (and current) is the progress being made on having working tab previews, jump boxes etc. in Windows 7.

Is there a particular page that details progress on this? Or should I just follow the bugs?

I couldn't get Glasser to work 'properly' with 3.5 so went for Stylish 'All Black'. Just as good IMO.

I got it working fine in the end!

For those having trouble with glasser and FF 3.5, there's an add-on based on Glasser made specifically to work with 3.5, which glasses everything including the bookmark bar etc:

All-Glass

All glass is no visual match for Glasser version 1.1.2 (see the thread on neowin above).

Hmmm hadn't seen newer glasser. Having tried it now though I don't see much difference apart from the tab / bookmarks bars which are glassed in All-Glass and not in Glaeer, and I think I prefer them glassed tbh.

Hmm..it's still not quite right, it's made the status bar transparent and it doesn't have the background for the File, Edit, View etc bar either. :(

Oh what are you using for the blue bookmarks bar btw? I have a stylish script for it but the text is kind of fuzzy on the script but looks like your one is fine, I assume it's part of a theme?

Glasser v1.1.2 (Glasser 1.1.1 has a glow around the text on the bookmarks toolbar which might be what you're seeing - 1.1.2 gets rid of the glow).

Craig.

Does Win7/Vista have a theme that's neutral grey instead of warm grey? I had to make a custom theme for windowsXP that was perfectly monochrome, and am not looking forward to having to do it again for Win7/Vista.

With Vista you can choose the colours much easier than in XP. Also the colours are more neutral not warm like on XP.
