Only two teeny tiny issues now, one is the bookmarks toolbar just looks ever so slightly wrong and two is the statusbar icons down in the bottom right seem ever so slightly too high in the menubar. My attempts to find a stylish fix for numbah 2 have proven futile :(

Agh, also just noticed that the "Done" in the bottom left has the right edge of the e cut off.

A little bit of polish and this will be a very nice upgrade from the old skin :D

I don't know which one I like more, all glassed or glassered. I like them both!!!

All Glass:

Glasser update:

Less visual bugs in Glasser version thoguh so I may stick with that until everything else gets fixed with AllGlass.

*snip (picture)*

I must say, that looks absolutely superb and will certainly use it as my default theme. Though, I'm having a bit of trouble getting the theme. On this page here it saids once you have extracted the contents you will receive a .ZAR file. However, I can't seem to see any file of that particular format.

Tis a typo, it means .JAR.

It's a jar file not zar :p they made a booboo there the. But yeah, just drag the jar into the "Themes" tab in the addons window and BAM, it will be awesome.

My apologies, I should have read the first post over at Neowin properly. None the less, thank you very much to you both.

I had been using the iFox Smooth theme as my default theme for some time which I really liked because it was very sleek. The Mozilla Firefox Mockup Theme (Version 2.0) though along with the AllGlass add-on is quite a bit better.

Thanks very much for sharing it with us mrk.

If that's a mozilla-central nightly you're running, you do realise you don't need Hide Menubar? Right click at the top, and you can hide the menu bar already.

Hmmm, my fonts on the tabs arnet displayed correctly :(

Cant seem to show any screenshots any larger, not sure why. But all the tabs apart form the one iam viewing are kinda distorted and its quite hard to read them.

I had that exact same issue Jimmy. I had searched through the Neowin thread but couldn't find any information to resolve this issue other than disabling the AllGlass add-on which I didn't really want to do. However, the page here where you download the the Mozilla Firefox Mockup Theme (Version 2.0) does have a fix for it.

STEP 4: If you face problem while reading text on inactive tabs, you'll need to apply the code given in "newtabfix.txt" present in the downloaded ZIP file using "Stylish" add-on.

Install Stylish

Once installed, copy the code from TXT file, click on the "Stylish" icon present in Statusbar and select "Write new style -> Blank style" option. Now paste the code in text area. Provide a suitable name to the style and click on "Save" button. That's it.

After you have done the above, the text on inactive tabs should then display correctly. The entire theme now looks absolutely superb.

When you downloaded the Mozilla Firefox 3.7 Theme, it will come with 3 files. One of the three files will be a newtabfix.txt file. Open it up and then copy and paste the entire contents into the text area in Stylish.

Ah yer, didnt noticed the txt file wasnt actually in the themes zip

Sorted now cheers :D

It is now complete! I love it like this, best of both worlds (as in my last reply)

I made the bookmarks bar thinner as I felt it was too fat before vertically by using the following in Stylish:

Code:
@namespace url(http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul);

#main-window #navigator-toolbox #PersonalToolbar
{
	padding: 0px 0px 1px 0px !important;
	color: white !important;
}

You can customise the values how you like, 1 and 3 are vertical padding sizes and 2 and 4 are horizontal :)

Ah yes, I see what you have changed. Whilst I prefer your latest screenshot from the second design from your post here, the very first design from that post is by far my favourite. I'm personally not a fan of showing the bookmarks. I also highly dislike the status bar at the bottom, that's the first thing that has to go. :p

It's just much more convenient for me to have the bookmarks bar there :p means I can access a bookmark in 2 clicks and minimal mouse movement instead of 3 with lots of mouse movement once you put into consideration the size of my bookmarks list and its organisation :p

Not too fussed with the status bar though as I use it quite a lot accessing stylish, adblock and firesizer etc :D

I've installed this theme and all required components but the menu bar at the top is there, how do I remove it?
