Firefox 3.7 with GPU support available

Anyone know any sites which are slow(er) using FF 3.5 so I can make out the difference?

The blog post I linked to (which is by the person actually working on this) gives some, as well as an SVG test case that's perceivably quicker. His follow up post here goes further. IIRC there's a switch so you can use the same build with and without D2D.

Comparison to 3.5 is pointless though, given the amount of stuff that's changed between the versions (and 3.6 is a matter of weeks away). It'll be faster anyway, even without this stuff.

To people saying that they're not going to use it because it says win32, all official versions fof Firefox (and most browsers in general) for Windows are 32 bit. This will also probably run on 64 bit.

This Alpha is buggy as hell, weird default Time New Roman style font, Aero Glass not working with latest Strata release among other sites not rendering properly.

Best wait until BETA.

3.6B4 working fine however.

Liking this a hell of a lot. Not used Firefox for a while as I've not liked it at all. Finding the layout changes and speed improvements very good. Pages in IE8 with my Acer 5515 take a while to load if it has many integrated flash items, even youtube would stutter playing HD content now and again. Not had a problem yet, but only been using it 2 days. Windows 7 Ultimate x64 :)

Will wait until the release or beta I think. Had a quick blast and it looked noticeably blurry compared to 3.5.5, seemed great apart from that though :)

Sure it has. Nightlies have to pass tests, an alpha release has to get past QA as well. This has to do neither.
