Firefox 4.0 available to download. Official Release tomorrow

Been using this for a couple of days. Seems Okay.

Not impressed with some of the gratuitous UI changes. They reversed the order of "Open Link in New Tab" and "Open Link in New Window" menu items for no apparent reason other than because they could. Muscle memory means that I keep clicking the wrong thing. Need to develop amnesia.:p

Status bar is gone and instead there is a variable width bar that pops up to show the progress. I find it aesthetically displeasing.

At least they made 'tabs on top' optional.

That is true, but the reason why they changed it is becuase when you right click, and want to open a new tab its easier for it to be first in the menu rather than second.

what they are saying by making this change, is that the menu placement was wrong in the first place.

can someone tell me what i need to do to completely reinstall firefox from fresh and then have all my bookmarks and add ons back? do i need to write down what add ons i have and then un-install and delete any other folders?

reason is because my pc is so slow since upgrading, not 100% sure if it's firefox but checking processes this is the one thing that's taking up most amount of memory making cpu run at 100%
