Firefox 4.0 available to download. Official Release tomorrow

Before I upgraded to FF4, when I went to close Firefox it would ask me if I want to save the tabs I have open. It no longer does this any more.
I dont know if this was a feature stemming from an add on or if it is a standard feature.

Can anyone tell me how to get it back?

Options -> Tabs -> Warn me when closing multiple tabs

Edit: Actually I miss-read that. Perhaps you want General -> When firefox starts up show -> my tabs from last time

ah cheers, now i've been playing around with it, it does seem to be whenever i quit out of a game and not as some people report to do with java and FF4.

thanks either way :)

~edit~
humpf nope it is FF4 i think, loading gif's shove both gpu's to 100% and stays there.

Again, it's a driver issue.

I really like the Update feature for styles/extensions in FF4, it reminds me a lot like Windows Update with the way it's managed and detailed out:

I would probably be using Chrome, but the thing I heard from when it was near launch about Google looknig through your history put me off a bit.

Oh well, I don't use bad stuff anyway (very often >__>), so I might as well make the jump. I go have the Chrome layout for Firefox. >_>.

The thing you heard?

You didn't hear from a reliable source. All this Iron nonsense is a pile of horse crap.

What would throw bookmark arrangement and placement off? Each time I opened the browser the folders and separators would be all scrambled in completely different order than I had, and if I were to move something it wouldn't go to the spot I placed it but rather a certain distance away

Already reverted to 3.6 because of this, will try again at a later date, but just wondered what that was about?

I'd recommend installing GTranslate 0.8 firefox addon!, brilliant just right clicking on a foreign text, selecting the GTranslate option and it translates it right away.

Ive just found out that the print button dont do anything when viewing pdf files with the latest adobe reader. You have to use the print button that appears when cursor near the bottom of the screen.

Is there a way to get 4.0 to auto refresh the page on every visit like the previous version instead of every ***seconds as i really don't like it the new way at all.

I write this comment and post reply, then click back and the page refreshes to show the thread index updated, version 3 did this automatically but the new version doesn't (at least mine doesn't) I have BBC news as my homepage and whenever i used to click back to it previously it would auto refresh, now i have to do it manually or choose one of the every *** second option instead which I don't like.

Guys

Since installing when I open a new tab the cursor is in the address bar and not the search box? Any way to change this as I keep going to type as normal and its in the address bar?

Thanks

check the settings as i'm sure someone said this before and it was set to auto select address bar.

Will have a look for that, one other thing is there any way to get my custom fav folders to the top bar rather than having to click "bookmarks" then selecting the folder then selecting the favorite link?

Thanks
